Ready to have a clear path to a nourishing & supportive postpartum experience?
Lesley taught her client Lori how to use a belly bind and what teas to use to support her postpartum time. She had to have an unexpected c-section so she needed extra support. She has been able to move through grief and postpartum blues with more ease than she thought possible.
Through Ayurvedic belly binding (wrapping), Jannelle was able to shift one of her client's perspective on self-care and self-love after a cesarean. The binding helped her to relax her mind and finally feel safe after her traumatic birth experience.
Infuse healing practices into your care and have the power to shift your postpartum time so you feel your best for your baby & family, after attending the Root & Wrap Workshop.
Don’t get stuck in postpartum depletion and caring for everyone around you. You know where folks come over and you end up hosting, or doing all of the cooking & cleaning for your household and then wonder why you’re so tired and maybe weepy.
After years of caring for postpartum clients and seeing how selfless mothers are we wanted to make sure the mother was mothered. That the mother was so deeply cared for in the “4th trimester,” that she felt nourished, whole and healed.
Teaching our clients belly binding and herbs for postpartum we’ve repeatedly seen how much better folks feel! not only does it help prevent postpartum depression/anxiety but also reduces risk of prolapse, reduces pain/swelling, and helps overall uterine recovery!
Join the Root & Wrap Workshop and learn exactly how you can do this too!

Meet your hosts
Lesley Gilbert, Owner of Sacred Spaces. multi-hyphenate entrepreneur. Chicana-indigenous- ceremonialist, bio-regional herbalist, yoga instructor, certified baby led birth & postpartum doula, lactation counselor, master gardener, food activist, designer, and mom of 2 boys!
Sacred Spaces was a dream seed that saw the light of day with tender care. Nurture, heal and connect - is the root philosophy woven into all of our offerings. "I'm like a wild flower seed- I let my interests float and spiral me to one passion and then to another. I love all things plant related. The mountains call me often to visit. My garden keeps me grounded. I like to teach and be in sacred circle with folks. I can drink tea and stare out the windows for hours... then I hear the whispers to create and off I go again!"
Jannelle AD, Owner of Flower n' Fox Doula. lived 1000 lives, Caribbean queen (in her mind), Ayurvedic Bellybinder, yoga instructor, swim teacher, certified full spectrum doula, lover of dance cardio, amateur photographer, and mom of 2 humans and one Malinois.
Flower n’ Fox is born from my own postpartum journey and the value I see in community, even when we tell ourselves “we can do it alone.” We weren’t meant to do postpartum alone. My grandmothers came to the US to help their children not do it alone. Those amazing women are the flower and the fox we all need - softness + instinct, blossoming + protection, healing + wisdom.
